MIKAS list

Countries and their MIKAS springs are presented in alphabetical order. The list is preliminary and has been created based on the evaluation of the Advisory Board, while the final list will be announced at the end of the project. The country map includes a shape file of the WOKAM project (World Karst Aquifer Map) available at BGR Geoportal . Some deviation from the real distribution of karst aquifers in the concerned countries is possible as a result of the difference in scales. Photography copyrights belong to the authors and are denoted in brackets, or to the internet source.
