Countries and their MIKAS springs are presented in alphabetical order. The list is prepared following proposal of the engaged national experts. The country map includes a shape file of the WOKAM project (World Karst Aquifer Map) available at BGR Geoportal. Some deviation from the real distribution of karst aquifers in the concerned countries is possible as a result of the difference in scales. Photography copyrights belong to the authors and are denoted in brackets, or to the internet source.
